The Mercedes-Maybach S 650 is already one of the most luxurious cars you can buy. The new Night Edition model is one of the most exclusive.

Just 15 of the 2020 Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Night Edition models will be headed to the U.S. Each features a distinctive exterior hallmarked by carbon fiber and black elements. The car’s Obsidian Black paint job is highlighted by carbon fiber trim on the front and rear, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and shadow “smoked” 20″ Maybach forged wheels. Night Edition badges adorn the front fenders.

It is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine that delivers 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. It can get to 60 mph from a standstill in 4.6 seconds.

It has the company’s Magic Body Control suspension that uses a camera to scan the road ahead and adjusts the proactively counteract the jostle of imperfections in the pavement.

Each model gets Night Edition leather floor mats and a trunk mat in black with porcelain edges. Night Edition badging features on the interior trim. The details are illuminated by 64-color ambient lightning.

It also comes equipped with the Maybach S 650’s two executive rear seats with a 43-degree recline angle and power calf rests, front and rear seats with massage feature, a wood/leather steering wheel and leather covered door sills and seat consoles, and rear seat entertainment.

On the dashboard are two 12.3-inch high-resolution display screens, one in front of the driver and one centrally located to control the car’s infotainment system. Mercedes has given the model a head up display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a Burmester High-surround sound system.

The model is now arriving at showrooms in the U.S. priced at $242,950.

Earlier this year, the 2021 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 debuted. It’s a super luxury take on the already plush GLS offering plenty of power, chrome, and high-tech interfaces.
