Lamborghini’s track-ready hypercar is ready. for its close up. The Lamborghini SCV12 has completed its development stage and is scheduled to premiere this summer.

The car has a naturally-aspirated V12 engine that was designed in-house at Lamborghini Centro Stile. It achieves 830 horsepower.

Lamborghini Squadra Corse used its GT motorsport expertise to design the car to achieve more downforce the na GT3 car. Its hood has a double-air intake and a central rib that directs airflow to the roof’s ram-air intake scoop. According to the automaker, the design “directs dynamic air pressure created by the car’s movement to increase static air pressure in the engine’s intake manifold, creating greater airflow through the engine and increasing power.”

The front is also home to a prominent splitter, and lateral flicks and vertical fins on the side sills. There is a large carbon fiber rear wing.

Underpinning the car is carbon fiber chassis with rear-wheel drive. A standard sequential six-speed gearbox is a structural element within the chassis. A pushrod rear suspension is system installed directly on the gearbox.

The car rides on magnesium wheels wrapped with Pirelli tires. Nineteen-inch tires are on the front and 20-inch tires are at the rear.

The SCV12 will be assembled at the Lamborghini Squadra Corse factory in Sant’Agata Bolognese, Italy as a limited edition model.
