For more than 70 years, Land Rover has been crafting high-performance 4x4s. For more than 50 years, Musto has been selling high-performance gear, suited for adventurers. Now, the two are teaming up for a new line inspired by the 2020 Land Rover Defender.
“The New Land Rover Defender is pushing the boundaries of automotive design, and we took this as inspiration to work with Musto to create our most advanced, technical and capable performance collection yet,” said Joe Sinclair, director of branded goods and licensing, Jagar and Land Rover, “Our ambition was to launch a specialist range of clothing and equipment that united the world-class capabilities of the Defender with our customers’ thirst for adventure.

The Above and Beyond collection of men’s and women’s clothing and technical equipment features innovative products like a Welded Thermo jacket with a RECCO integrated reflective antenna, which can help rescue teams locate a person in difficult terrain. That same jacket includes PrimaLoft Aeroget-lined pockets that works to help mobile phones stay charged.

The Rodinia Hybrid jacked includes YKK Quickburst zipper technology that quickly changes the jacket into a vest. It also has PrimaLoft Black Eco insulation, a down alternative material.

In addition to clothing, the range includes rugged flasks and bottles, a pen designed to tolerate harsh conditions, and an activity belt with an ANSI COBRA buckle and webbing with 6,000 kg tensile strength.
