Lamborghini, Roger Dubuis, and Pirelli joined forces in Aspen to launch a new, very exclusive watch.

Swiss watchmaker Roger Dubuis has added a new, automotive themed watch to its collection. The Excalibur Pirelli Ice Zero 2 recently debuted in Aspen, showcasing an avant-garde approach to watch design that incorporates prized modern materials.

Surrounded by the legendary ski runs and snowy peaks of the Rocky Mountains, the watch made its debut as select guests were welcomed to drive a Lamborghini on ice, something usually avoided by the supercar owner set.

The watch features sporty characteristics including its Poinçon de Genève-certified astral skeleton signature (820SQ calibre). The 28-piece watch has the Pirelli Cinturato intermediate pattern on the inside and wraps around the wrist with a Ice Zero 2 studded tire strap.

It sits in a natural titanium case offset by icy blue accents.

Owners also received an additional bimaterial strap featuring a black rubber base and blue rubberTech inlay. It has a 52-hour power reserve.

The watch gets its name from the new studded tire of the Pirelli range. The Lamborghini that was driven on the ice during the reveal wore the shoes that leant their name to the model.

Only eight of the timepieces will be produced.
