Like the Porsche Museum, the Honda Collection Hall is throwing open its virtual doors for a digital all-access tour of the models. The collection encompasses all aspects of Honda’s auto business from motorcycles to vintage cars and trucks to motorsports.
The Collection Hall is located at Honda’s Twin Ring Motegi racing circuit in Tochigi, Japan. The track itself has unique history. It was built in 1997 as part of the company’s efforts to bring an IndyCar race to Japan. The following year, the collection was established. That same year, NASCAR hosted a race at the track, which was won by Mike Skinner, who may be better known as “The American” test driver for “The Grand Tour”.
The tour of the hall includes a look at the most comprehensive collection of historical Honda products anywhere in the world. From the S360 sportscar and T360 mini truck to dozens of motorcycles and modern power equipment.
Though you might be more familiar with Honda’s latest passenger car, truck, and SUV models, Honda has a long history producing motorcycles around the world. They’ve sold over 400 million to date, but it all started with a Dream.
