At the end of its 2020 year end sales result press release, Lamborghini tacked on a bit of a spoiler. The automaker, who traditionally plays its development hand close to its chest, revealed that its planning on release two new products in addition to the Huracán STO that will be “based on the iconic V12.”
That’s it. That’s all we know. Well, kind of.
Word is that next-generation Lamborghini products are delayed so the two new V12-engined machines are likely variants of vehicles already in the Lambo stable. There’s a trio of possibilities there including the Aventador, Urus, Sìan, and Huracán.

Looking down the roster of products, the Aventador looks like the most likely model to get a new model infusion. There’s been a rash of new Huracáns lately, including the Huracán STO, while the Aventador just celebrated its 10,000th build.
Could an Aventador STO be in the works? If there’s one thing that Lamborghini knows how to do, it’s make an even more track-ready car.
Huracán and Urus models also already have Capsule variants. That would be an easier addition to the Aventador lineup than the Aventador STO. Capsule models traditionally feature fresh paint colors and interior accents but nothing in the way of performance enhancements.
A one-of-one might not be worthy of the type of tease that the Italian sports car brand is layout out here though it remains a possibility.
There is also the possibility of a special edition Lamborghini debuting to round out the 2021 model roster. Lamborghini could also be developing a new Sìan model. The Sìan FKP 37 and Sìan Roadster are limited edition models.
One thing is for certain. We won’t know until Lamborghini is ready to let the cat out of the bag.
