It’s been a good run for the Audi R8 V10 quattro. The powertrain-drivetrain combination of Audi’s top all-wheel drive sports car will be discontinued following a limited edition run. The R8 V10 performance quattro lives on for 2021.

Just 30 of the limited edition models will be available. Options for buyers include a Mugello Blue, Avus Silver, or Sonoma Green paint job on the coupe version or a Mugello Blue exterior on the Spyder model. Each color will be available in limited quantities. Fifteen Mugello Blue models with a pastel silver interior will be constructed. Additionally, five Avus Silver/black, five Sonoma Green/black Audis will be made. The Spyder comes exclusively with the pastel silver interior.

It features side blades, lower trim, and an engine compartment that are finished in carbo fiber, red painted brake calipers, and alu-optic mirror caps. The car rides on 20-inch milled wheels in silver – a first for U.S. customers.

Its naturally aspirated engine is paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. It achieves 562 horsepower road 406 pound-feet of torque, which move the coupe from zero to 60 mph in as little as 3.4 seconds. Spyder models hit that mark in 3.5 seconds. The coupe version has a top track speed of 201 mph but the Spyder is rated one mph slower.

Audi is equipping the limited edition models with a carbon fiber front sway bar, Audi magnetic ride, and Audi dynamic steering. The carbon fiber sway bar saves 4.4 pounds of weight while the magnetic ride adjusts the vehicle’s firmness. Using dynamic steering technology, the R8 is more stable at low speeds and easier to maneuver, making it a more practical daily driver.

Drivers steer the car via a flat-bottom three-spoke multifunction steering wheel with paddle shifters. Audi virtual cockpit and the MMI navigation plus come standard. The interior also features carbon fiber high-gloss surrounds. Coupe models have a diamond stitched Alcantara headliner.

The limited edition R8 V10 quattro is scheduled go on sale this summer with an MSRP of $186,000 for the Coupe and $195,900 for the Spyder.
