A world famous customer approached Bentley’s customization division, Mulliner, for a ride upgrade just in time for Christmas. His flying sleigh is getting changed out for a unique and festive Flying Spur V8 called the “Reindeer Eight”.

The one-off model is finished in a deep red Cricket Bauble paint job that is one of the 62 shades offered by Mulliner’s extended range of options. On its face is a gold three-dimensional printed reindeer in lieu of the traditional Bentley Flying B mascot. Mulliner has replaced the car’s V8 badging with a “Reindeer Eight” badge. The car’s chrome hood has been re-trimmed in gold with a coordinating hand-painted line that runs from the rear of the Bentley wing badges.

The owner has added a gold styling specification, which includes a carbon diffuser at the front and rear, carbon side sills, and a hood lid spoiler. The road-going sled rides on 22-inch golden wheels with diamond finish wrapped in all-season tires.

Bentley has given the car its traditional V8 powertrain. “What fun it is to ride in a 542 horsepower sleigh. Plus, there’s space in the back for all my subordinate Clauses. I’m looking forward to putting 41 million miles on the clock before the end of the year,” said the bearded customer.

The interior of the Flying Spur has a monotone Cricket Bauble scheme with gold personalized embroidery and hand cross-stitching. The owner’s name is stitched into the driver’s seat with his wife’s stitched into the passenger seat.

Across the dashboard and doors is a horizontal veneer that features a winter scene of the North Pole with inlays that depict the end of a night’s journey like those the buyer takes around the world at least once per year.

The seats of the “Reindeer Eight” features heating, ventilation, and multi-mode massage functionality. The Mulliner Driving Specification chosen by the customer features new three-dimensional leather with traditional stitching and embroidery work. There are 11,100 gold hand cross-stitched highlights that take craftspeople 18 hours to complete. The client’s elfin helpers can appreciate that level of artistry.

In front of the driver, the Bentley Rotating Display features the sounds of sleigh bells while the veneer section in the middle of the dashboard rotates to reveal a 12.3-inch touch screen. A Naughty and Nice list is integrated into the car’s navigation system allowing the driver to know if the inhabitants of the homes he passes have been good or bad.

The cost of the build has not been revealed but for the buyers, Santa and Mrs. Claus, it’s priceless.
