This unique car was built as a one-off for a special Lamborghini client.

The SC20 pushes the limits of a road-worthy car and track car to the extreme, all in one body. Lamborghini Squadra Corse has designed the car as a unique specimen, the second one-off creation engineered by the company’s motorsport department and designed by Centro Stile in Sant’Agata Bolognese.

The engine vehicle was created following the customer’s wishes. That customers was involved in the project from the start, when the car was little more than an idea sketched by Lamborghini’s designers. Ultimately the design process landed on a vehicle that has extreme performance and aesthetics.

“Two years after the SC18 Alston, the SC20 was a new, intriguing challenge. The chief sources of inspiration were the Diablo VT Roadster, Aventador J, Veneno Roadster and Concept S, and the result is a dramatic combination of creativity and racing attitude,” said Mitja Borkert, Head of Design Lamborghini Centro Stile.

Lamborghini engineers have polished the carbon fiber body of the car to deliver optimal airflow, ensuring both a high level of performance and comfort for the passengers, even at high speeds with the roof down. The front splitter is inspired by the Huracán GT3 EVO while the body is adopted from the Essenza SCV12. At the back is a carbon fiber wing that can be set in three different positions: Low, Medium and High Load.

The Lamborghini team painted the body of the car Bianco Fu (white), which was created explicitly for the customer. On top is a Blu Cepheus (blue) livery. The same shade is found in the interior, alternating with Nero Cosmus (black) and Bianco Leda (white).

There is visible carbon fiber on the dashboard, rear wall, door panels, center console, and steering wheel trim. The carbon fiber shells of the seats are upholstered in Alcantara and leather. The door handles on the other hand, are machined from solid aluminum. The car’s air vents were created using 3D printing technology at the Sant’Agata Bolognese factory.

“The SC20 is a combination of sophisticated engineering, Italian craftsmanship, sportiness and advanced design. It is also an example of applying our V12 engine and carbon fiber to a radical open-top vehicle that unmistakably carries the Lamborghini DNA,” said Maurizio Reggiani, Chief Technical Officer of Automobili Lamborghini.

It is powered by Lamborghini’s flagship 6.5-liter V12 engine, which delivers 759 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a seven-speed Independent Shifting Rod (ISR) gearbox. The model comes equipped with a four-wheel drive system with central electronic differential. It rides on and the Pirelli PZero Corsa tires that are mounted on single-nut aluminum rims measuring 20 inches in front and 21 inches at the rear.
