The Lotus Evora is a shapely new model with plenty of power and sport-centric drivability. Now, the British automaker is offering a more comfortable and cheaper variant of the model, dubbed the Lotus Evora GT410. The original Evora model is now known as the Lotus Evora GT410 Sport.
While the Evora GT410 Sport has features that make it track-ready. What it doesn’t have are the comfort and convenience features that make a super luxury performance car a viable daily driver. Enter the new Evora GT410. The fresh model has a longer list of standard features than the Sport model but costs £3,000 less than the GT410 Sport.
In the GT410, the drive and passenger sit in Sparco sport seats. The list of standard and available features includes air conditioning, a rearview camera, infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay, cruise control, heated seats, rear parking sensors, and DAB digital radio. Lotus has added integrated arm rests, two additional speakers, and storage bins throughout the cabin.
The engineering team has replaced a section of body paneling on the rear of the car with glass for better rearward visibility. Additional standard equipment includes body-colored roof, side sills, tailgate, front access panel and mirror backs; red AP Racing brake callipers; and silver or gloss black V-spoke cast alloy wheels (19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the rear).
There’s also an increased amount of insulation to reduce road noise. It has a a revised damper rate and rides on standard Michelin Pilot Sport 4S all-weather tires.
Lotus GT410 buyers will be able to choose from an expanded palette of paint jobs that includes some colors from the company’s past.
Lotus is selling the model in the UK for £82,900 (€99,900 in Germany).
