One of the most important rules of any road trip: “Be excellent to each other”. Friends, co-stars, and Porsche enthusiasts Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter recently took a road trip across Southern California in the 2021 Porsche Taycan Turbo, and it was all caught on film and from the look of things, they had a most triumphant time.
The eight-minute film captures the journey from start to finish starting in Santa Barbara and ending up in L.A. Race car and stunt driver Tanner Foust makes an appearance daring the duo to experience Launch Control and shows off a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. Hint: When the Tanner Foust shows up asking you to try out Launch Control, your answer should always be, “Yes, Sir, Dude!…Yes, Sir, Sir, Dude!”

Porsche Factory Race Driver, Patrick Long invites the two to try a two-mile hill climb up the Pacific Coast Highway following a 918 Spyder supercar.
Then, they head to the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles where they hit the track to try to outdo the Taycan’s drift record. If you think Reeves has mastered control of his hands with his training in jiu jitsu, wushi, boxing, krav maga, judo, and karate, wait until you see them attempting to fling a 670-Taycan around. The result? “That was non-non-non-non-heinous!”
Along the way, Reeves and Winter reveal tidbits about their automotive past. Reeves once owned a 1996 Porsche 911 that was given the nickname “The Sled”. Winter’s first Porsche drive experience was in a Targa model.
