Model maker Jeff Frost posted images of models reportedly showing the the new Batmobile from the forthcoming film “The Batman”. There’s a lot of reason to believe that they reveal the real design vision of the Batmobile and aren’t just some models from an enthusiast.
Frost is a model maker and sculptor with experience on a wide variety of films over the last two decades including “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2“, “Star Trek: Beyond“, “Thor“, and “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice“. He’s created landscapes and animals, and vehicles as part of his work, as displayed on his portfolio website.
After the images leaked, one page of his website became unable to be found – the one that was originally designated for “The Batman”. Then suddenly the whole website was made private. That likely means that the studio asked Frost to remove the images, which lends more credence to their credibility.
Luckily, ComicBookMovie.com saved the images so they could be shared.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen the Batmobile. Director Matt Reeves teased the vehicle in a tweet. Those images were enough for AutomotiveMap to speculate on what the design origins and and capability of the new Batmobile are.

Much of the speculation based on the tweet holds up as the new model images have been shown. Its illuminated back end is more apparent in the new images, showing a design with direct lineage to previous Batmobiles. The car appears to be the right blend of throwback and new age.
And, if you look closely at the model photos, you can see a miniature Batman sitting inside the car, confirming that it’s left-hand drive.
