Kia has confirmed that the 2021 Sorento will make its official debut at the 2020 Geneva International Auto Show in March. The model has been spied with and without camouflage testing in the last month. Now, the automaker has released images that officially show off the model.
The model will arrive in Geneva completely redesigned. It is a midsize crossover that is currently in its third generation, having undergone its last redesign in 2015.

On its face, the new Sorento features looks in line with what can be seen on the new 2021 Kia Seltos subcompact SUV, which debuted late last year at the LA Auto Show and was featured in a Super Bowl commercial.
Kia says that the fourth-generation Sorento will be the first vehicle based on Kia’s new midsize SUV platform. They tout that, ” the Sorento raises standards in its segment for practicality, offering space on a par with larger vehicles.” They also point out that the vehicle will have “advanced driver assistance systems and progressive connectivity and infotainment features.” It is likely that these features are ones that have been introduced in the popular Kia Telluride.
There will also be a 2021 Kia Sorento Hybrid model.
The three-row 2020 Kia Sorento starts at $26,990. It is likely that Kia will continue to offer the Sorento at a starting price near that level in its new generation.
