The 2021 Toyota Tacoma will get a new special editions, a fresh paint option, a new trim level, more standard equipment and an increase in price. Altogether, the third-generation Tacoma will be available in 33 different configurations for the 2021 model year.
All Tacoma models powered by the company’s available V6 engine receive standard dual-zone air conditioning. An upgraded audio system, which allows for Remote Services integration, will come on Tacoma TRD Pro and Off-Road models. Tacoma SR5 trucks get a standard first aid kit.

Toyota is giving each Tacoma it’s Toyota Safety Sense P suite of safety and driver assist technology. The tech roster includes a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert, and automatic high beams.
The 2021 Tacoma TRD Pro will be available with a new exterior paint color – Lunar Rock. The color replaces Army Green in the TRD Pro color pallet. Other color options include Super White, Magnetic Gray Metallic and Midnight Black Metallic.
New Tacoma Trail special edition models will be arriving on dealer lots soon. Based on the Tacoma SR5, these editions are available with two- and four-wheel drive, and in a variety of exterior colors including Army Green, Cement, Midnight Black, and Super White. Each new Tacoma Trail has black exterior accents and black upholstery with tan accents, as well as a number of other unique features.
The 2021 Tacoma Nightshade follows the design mantra of other Nightshade models in the Toyota lineup. It’s built o the Tacoma Limited grade and features leather-trimmed seating and black exterior details. It’s only available inn Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray Metallic, or Windchill Pearl exterior paint colors.
Toyota is pricing the 2021 Tacoma to start at $26,150 – just $100 more than the 2020 edition. The Tacoma Trail starts at $34,005 while the Tacoma Nightshade has a sticker price of $39,905 in its cheapest form. The most expensive truck in the lineup is the Tacoma TRD Pro 4×4 with a double cab, which starts at $46,780.
