All Bugatti customers are able to customize their new car. The list of custom specification possibilities is nearly endless. One client recently pushed the company’s Atelier team further than usual with a unique ask.
A husband ordered a Bugatti Chiron Sport for his wife via H.R. Owen Bugatti in England. The buyer worked with H.R. Owen staff on the initial order then traveled with their sales team to the luxury brand’s headquarters in Molsheim, France, where Bugatti was founded more than 110 years ago in 1909, for final decisions.
The designers at the Atelier in Molsheim got to work crafting a vehicle that is tailored to the buyer’s creative wishes. That started with the exterior. The unique visage, which is finished in Matt Blanc and Silk Rosé, a new color Bugatti designed specifically for the car. It extends from the outer shell and lower body trim to the alloy wheels.
The color continues to the Chiron Sport1’s interior where a mix of leather and Alcantara materials finished in Gris Rafale with the car’s name stitched on the Comfort-spec headrest: ‘Alice’. The words ‘Chiron Sport’ are stitched elsewhere in the cabin. The custom ‘Alice’ logo is also featured on the car’s door sills, finished in aluminum and shown in Silk Rosé.
“This is a truly unique Bugatti model, that will always be remembered as a real one-of-a-kind car,” said Ken Choo, CEO of H.R. Owen. “We are honored to have played an important part in connecting our customer with this incredible Chiron Sport. The customer came to us with a vision of how they wanted their new Bugatti to look, and we are delighted that the depth and scale of Bugatti’s extensive accessories and options catalogue allows for even the most ambitious of designs to be realized. It is incredible to see every Bugatti made in a different way, with the new owner getting chance to stamp their own personal taste on their new car.”
The Chiron Sport is different than the Chiron though it may look mostly the same on the outside. It’s the Bugatti version of the ultimate supercar offering a firmer chassis and delivering sharper handling and impressive agility. The car is constructed using performance-orientated lightweight ocmponents that are deigned to not impugne on the car’s luxury level character. The Chiron Sport is powered by Bugatti’s 8.0-liter W16 engine.
The cost? 2.65 million euros ($3.196 million USD).
