The craft is easy enough for most to attempt on their own.

Infiniti has had a number of models in its lineup over the years, from sports cars to brawny SUVs. While they’ve been shown in artist renderings and clay models, the newest models Infiniti has debuted are being shown in “carigami” form.

As people around the world are encouraged to stay home in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19, the premium vehicle brand is encouraging customers and fans the world over to get in touch with their artsy side as part of their Park It For Now (#ParkitforNow) campaign.

“In this unprecedented time where citizens of the world are doing their part to fight COVID-19 by staying at home, we wanted to develop something that will help ease the boredom, while having a bit of fun” said Phil York, General Manager of Infiniti Global Brand and Marketing. He continued, “Our hope is that lovers of cars and crafts alike, will enjoy Carigami.

Three popular Infiniti vehicles in 1:27 scale are being as origami-like art projects. All you’ll need is a printer, some paper, a craft knife, and glue to print the templates and assemble your own version of the Infiniti Q50, QX80, and FX.

The design team that created the models did their own version of a vehicle reveal featuring a record turntable.
