Remember the movie Cars? The fun, Pixar-animated movie is a popular pick for kids and gearheads alike, and it has spawned plenty of sequels and merchandise over the years. There’s a new piece of merchandise coming, but it’s not what you’re probably thinking. Porsche teamed up with Pixar Animation Studios on a one-off 911 modeled after the character Sally Carrera.

RM Sotheby’s will auction off the car on August 20 during Monterey Car Week. The proceeds from the sale will benefit Girls Inc. and USA for UNHCR. The Sally Special, as it’s called, is based on a 911 Carrera GTS, one of the most powerful and best-handling models in the massive catalog. It rides on Turbo-inspired wheels that mimic the old-school Turbo Twists, and a pinstripe tattoo adorns the back deck, just like the character in the movie.

Porsche’s custom paint colors are massively popular, and the team set to work on this car with a custom Sally Blue Metallic paint. The theme carries over inside, where unique patterned cloth and leather cover the seating surfaces.

Being a one-off Porsche means that this car will be exceedingly expensive, but the winning bid will be a mystery until August 20. The car’s development process is not a mystery, however, as Porsche will include several handmade items with the sale of the car. Included will be a Porsche Design watch that was created in collaboration with Pixar, a second set of wheels, and several smaller items.

If you’re hoping to get your hands on this car – and many people will – get your wallet and financing ready. The auction is scheduled for Saturday, August 20.
